Key Personnel Background
David Piacitelli, President
Prior to founding Top Line Systems, David Piacitelli spent 20 years in marketing, sales, and small business management as Vice President of Sales and co-owner of Miniature Casting Corporation. He successfully sold into the Automotive, Telecommunications, High-Tech Electronics, and Consumer/Industrial Hardware markets. His experience includes national sales representative network development and management, application of strategic marketing techniques to improve market penetration and sales effectiveness, and implementation of streamlined sales management systems for improved bottom line and corporate focus.
Mr. Piacitelli developed the Top Line System concept to assist small-to-medium sized manufacturing concerns maximize sales effort while minimizing sales expense. His experience-based understanding of the organizational integration of sales and marketing concepts, and street-level sales development, is the foundation for his execution based style.
Mr. Piacitelli has a B.S. in Communications from Emerson College.
Michael Sheehan, Strategic/Marketing Director
Michael Sheehan has over 30 years experience in product, service and concept-development promotion for manufacturing, industrial and commercial markets. Application of his strategies has helped organizations with sales levels from $2.5 million to $250 million achieve increased revenues, greater market penetration, and stronger corporate identity and brand awareness. He is a results-oriented leader with extensive marketing communications experience and outstanding research, analytical and evaluation skills.
Utilizing his expertise as founder and President of SKYHAWK Resources, a strategic marketing firm, as well as Sheehan Communications, Inc., a marketing communications firm, Mr. Sheehan developed the marketing science portion of the Top Line System. His grasp of media application and marketing resource management allows the system to function at maximum effectiveness with minimal resource investment. A background in manufacturing and technical writing allows him to understand and articulate process specific benefits in a targeted, audience-friendly manner.
Mr. Sheehan holds a B.S. in Industrial Management and an M.B.A. (Marketing), both from the University of Akron.
